Education: graduated from Lebanon High School and attended St. Catherine's College and Eastern Kentucky University Family: wife Mary Beth; sons Stephen and Patrick; and four sisters and four brothers Years in the Business: Keeneland, 32-plus years Career Highlights: I started as a laborer and was promoted to administrative assistant in the Outside Maintenance Department nine months later. During my frst year I became chairman for the Keeneland Blood Drives and have had up to four drives per year. I am most proud of the dedicated employees that have donated blood throughout the years. Hobbies: spending time with my family, traveling, fshing, college sports, and all University of Kentucky sports What you enjoy about working at Keeneland: I have been blessed to have worked with a great group of people throughout my career at Keeneland and have formed lifetime friendships. I enjoy the excitement of the race meets — getting out on a brisk morning, smelling burgoo cooking, and seeing and hearing all the hustle and bustle that go on during a race day. I enjoy experiencing the beauty that only Keeneland can provide.
